In a Decision – DCPP v. A.M., (an Unpublished Opinion) >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division determined that the conduct of a Mother who left her children unattended in a crib in her residence for several hours when she went to work mid-afternoon constituted abuse or neglect under N.J.S.A. 9:6-8.21(c)(4). The Appellate division addressed the mother’s circumstance but, nevertheless, held that the Mother exercised grossly negligent behavior in leaving her minor children unattended at home for several hours.
