In a Decision – A.F. v. M.M., (an "Unreported Decision") >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division affirmed the Trial Court determination of Domestic Violence and utilization of the recalled judge.
Plaintiff filed a domestic violence complaint alleging defendant showed up at her door unannounced after plaintiff requested defendant refrain from contacting her. Plaintiff further alleged a prior history of domestic abuse, including threats, derogatory language, and unwelcome communication.
The Appellate Division held that the record evidence supported the trial court's determination that plaintiff was subject to acts of harassment by defendant after he continued to contact plaintiff after she requested to have nothing more to do with defendant, which the trial court found evidenced defendant's purpose to harass.
