In a Decision – Newman v. Newman, (an "Unreported Decision") >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division affirmed the Trial Court finding and held that even if there was a change in defendant's earnings, there was no evidence that he would not be able to pay the monthly payment of $3,000 in child support.
As the yearly income exceeded the maximum set forth in the guidelines, the assets of the parties were also a factor in calculating the amount of child support. Defendant's increased net worth also offset any change in income.
