In a Decision Lewandowski v. Lewandowski, (an "Unreported Decision") >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division determined that the Trial court improperly failed to include the Adoption Subsidy in the child support calculation.
Husband was to pay child support and alimony. Excluded from the child support calculation was the adoption subsidy received by Wife on a monthly basis. On appeal, the court remanded for recalculation of the support obligation. The remand for recalculation was necessary because the court found adoption subsidies should have been included as income to plaintiff when calculating defendant's child support obligation. Wife Plaintiff that another error offset the adoption subsidy error, so the court left it to the lower court to recalculate the child support on remand.
