In a Decision – Sampson v. Sampson, (an "Unreported Decision") >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division affirmed the Decision of the Trial Court and determined that the Trial Court’s conclusion that Husband was not credible was supported by the evidence. The Trial court too found that the Separation Agreement just governed the separation.
The parties divorced in 2017 but separated in 2015 and signed a separation agreement prepared by defendant. Neither party had an attorney review the agreement and plaintiff signed it the day she received it because she needed to leave the house due to an "extremely hostile environment." Alimony was not provided and Husband’s business was not distributed. The trial Court awarded Alimony for 10 years and equitable distribution of property.
