In a Decision – In the Matter of the Estate of Gillette, (an “Unreported Decision") >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division determined that Wife’s signing of a Premarital
Agreement barred her from claiming against the Estate of her Husband as
there was no evidence that Husband withheld financial information from
Wife at the signing of the Premarital Agreement.
The trial court dismissed the complaint, finding that Wife presented no evidence of fraud in the
Premarital Agreement. The Appellate division found no evidence that Husband had withheld
financial information from the parties' Premarital Agreement.
