In a Decision – Dobre v. Dobre (an Unpublished Opinion) >> the Court Held:
The Appellate Division determined that the Trial Court appropriately determined Husband’s sweat equity contributed to the properties' overall improvement. Husband operated a construction company. The exempt real estate had improvements thereon; virtually doubling the size of the house. Husband narrated a video of the construction and his supervision of the construction. As to another piece of exempt real estate, Husband set forth that he performed tasks because Wife gave him the impression it was their joint asset for their children.
